Below describes the terms on which Organised at Home will be delighted to help you and work
with you for best possible results.
Confidentiality and Privacy
Organised at Home provides a professional, discreet and confidential service. If during the course of my
work, I am privy to confidential information, this will not be shared with third parties. Any reference to
our sessions together will be in the context of discussing my work and your anonymity will be
protected. Photographs may be taken at the beginning and end of our sessions to record progress. I
welcome Testimonials and may ask to use these, or photographs from our sessions on my website.
These will only ever be used with your permission and can be anonymous.
Recommendations
Recommendations are made in good faith and without pressure. It is always your choice to accept or
reject my recommendations regarding decluttering or organising and as such Organised at Home cannot accept responsibility for the consequences of these choices. Organised at Home is not a
valuer of art or other items of special value or rarity, you are advised to seek your own valuations of
such items.
Handling Goods
Organised at Home will always handle your possessions with great care, however should an accident
occur, Organised at Home shall not be held liable for damage or losses caused during my work with you
and request that you have current insurance policies to compensate you adequately.
Removal of Items
Organised at Home works with you, the client, and your belongings only. Any items not belonging to you
cannot be decluttered without the express consent of the person or people concerned, who should
also sign below. Items to be removed from your premises, either for disposal or to other locations,
must be at your own discretion. Any loss incurred through such removal will be borne by you.
Disposal will not take place without your authorisation. Organised at Home does not carry a waste licence
however I can put you in contact with organisations who can collect waste or charitable donations
from your premises.
Limits of Work
Organised at Home will work with you to achieve the state of presentation or organisation agreed during
our consultation. This may involve moving things around and some light cleaning which I am happy to
assist with. I am unable do help with moving heavy items such as heavy furniture or appliances. If this
is required, please consider arranging a willing volunteer.
Hours of Work
You will be charged for hours worked unless you have chosen a package. Working hours will be
calculated from the time I arrive at your premises until I leave, excluding any lunch breaks. It is not
always possible to anticipate exactly how many hours will be needed. If my service will take longer
than anticipated, we will discuss this in the session and decide if you wish to continue with additional
hours, either on the day or on another day.
Breaks and refreshments
When necessary, we may break for a drink or to pace yourself. These short breaks are included
within the session time. If the session covers lunch time, we will break for lunch and you will not be
charged for this time.
Cancellation Policy
Both you and Organised at Home have the right to cancel due to unforeseen Circumstances. If you are
able to give me up to 48 hours notice, I will aim to reschedule. Appointments cancelled within 48h are
charged at 50% of the minimum agreed appointment time. Appointments cancelled with less than 24h
notice are forfeited and charged at 100% of the minimum agreed appointment time.
Payment Times
Organised at Home will require a deposit of £100 prior to confirming appointments and providing services
which is redeemable against services provided. Unless a package is purchased , services will be
levied by the hour. Payment is due at the end of the session by bank transfer. Any journeys over 5
miles are charged at 45p per mile. This will be made clear before the booking is accepted.
